Our cat(s)

Following the recent sad passing of our beloved boy - Bilbo, at present (April '08) we have just one indoor cat of our own - Emillie, and one outdoor boy Sammy.
Not fogetting our K9 boy Ben, who has his own page.

The above photo is of Traceylooe Emillie Jane, Emillie for short. Emillie is a chocolate tortie persian born on 5th July 2004. She has been spayed and is purely a pet that we love dearly.

At one time we did have 12 cats of our own - five indoor and 7 outdoor. When fostering sadly there are always little fur people that for various reasons cannot be homed on but we loved them all. Young, old, well and not so well, loved or ill-treated before coming to us they all had so much love to give in return for being shown love and kindness.

We acquired our first cat back in 1980, a large ginger & white boy called 'Binky'. We got Binky from the Barnjet Cat Protection Shelter near Crawley in Sussex. He was a large adult male who was a great teacher, we learnt so much from him and it was a pleasure to have been able to share part of his life. He came to Cornwall with us in 1988 but sadly died in 1992 just a few months before we moved to Treetops.

Yes, we are just big softies really who love all cats, indeed all animals dearly no matter what.

This photo below is a more recent picture of Emillie but we will keep trying to get a better one, without the glowing eyes preferably, but as soon as the camera comes out she usually makes a run for it!!
